Slewing bearing in Construction Equipment
The durable and robust design of our single- and double-row ball slewing bearings allows them to endure alternating loads in both the axial and radial direction, in addition to tilting loads. This results in minimal perpendicular force being applied to the adjacent constructions.
Slewing bearings play an essential role in a variety of different construction equipment. Examples include: as main bearings connecting the chassis to the operative body in an excavator, as articulated joints with horizontal axis of rotation in large wheel loaders, as pendulum axels with horizontal axis of rotation in harvesters and forwarders, or as bearings for grabbers with hanging axial loads (axial force acts on the bolts with tension).
